Never forget that the Poor are our Lord

The Little Sisters of the Poor support elderly persons to help them cross the threshold of the home: this is the apostolate of the Congregation. In 31 countries, on five continents, the Little Sisters of the Poor are at the service of the elderly, most of whom are in need of material care and love. In 165 years of existence, the Congregation of the poor has welcomed 677,497 elderly poor in 210 homes.
